Shaenaz Voss, the former executive general for Corporate Affairs at Fiji Airways, was questioned at the Nadi Police Station yesterday. Alongside her was Sharun Ali, the airline’s general manager for Safety, Security, and Quality. The two arrived at the station around midday with their lawyers and were interviewed by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department based in Suva. They left the station after 5 PM. Acting Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, confirmed that the pair were interviewed under caution and subsequently released. The questioning was related to a breach of the Civil Aviation Security Regulation that occurred in 2018. The investigation is ongoing.
