Shaenaz Voss, a former executive of Corporate Affairs at Fiji Airways, and Sharun Ali, the airline’s general manager of Safety, Security, and Quality, were questioned at the Nadi Police Station yesterday. The two arrived alongside their legal representatives shortly after midday and were interviewed by officers from the Suva-based Criminal Investigation Department.
They left the police station after 5 PM. Acting Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, confirmed that both individuals were interviewed under caution and subsequently released. The questioning was related to a violation of the Civil Aviation Security Regulation that occurred in 2018. The investigation is ongoing.
