Shaenaz Voss, the former executive general for Corporate Affairs at Fiji Airways, was questioned at the Nadi Police Station yesterday, along with Sharun Ali, the airline’s general manager for Safety, Security, and Quality. The two individuals arrived at the police station with their legal representatives shortly after midday and were interrogated by officers from the Suva-based Criminal Investigation Department. They left the station after 5 PM.
Acting Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, confirmed that both individuals were interviewed under caution and subsequently released. The questioning was related to a breach of the Civil Aviation Security Regulation that occurred in 2018. The investigation is ongoing.
