Fiji Airports Takes Major Step in Security Overhaul

Fiji Airports Limited is undertaking its inaugural review of airport security governance, systems, and processes. This significant evaluation is being conducted by aviation security specialists from Airports Council International (ACI), which includes five experts hailing from South Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti.

Mesake Nawari, the Chief Executive Officer of Fiji Airports, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in this critical review, highlighting the vital role the airport plays in the aviation landscape of Fiji and the broader Blue Pacific region. He emphasized that the recommendations derived from this evaluation will be instrumental in enhancing operational practices at the airport, ultimately ensuring the safety of passengers.
