Minister for Women Lynda Tabuya has been cleared of allegations following an investigation by FICAC. The complaints, which originated from the Supervisor of Elections in April, involved accusations against Ms. Tabuya regarding the false declaration and failure to disclose income. A related complaint concerned her former spouse, Robert Semaan.

FICAC confirmed that they registered the complaint and conducted an inquiry based on the findings. It was determined that Ms. Tabuya was not required to provide information about her spouse, as she has been divorced from Robert Semaan since 2016. Consequently, FICAC has decided to close the case.
