Joel Abraham has stepped down as the chief executive officer of the Fijian Competition & Consumer Commission (FCCC). Mr. Abraham’s journey with FCCC, which was previously known as the Commerce Commission, began in 2013, and he took the helm as CEO in 2016.
In a recent media statement, the commission praised Mr. Abraham as a transformative leader, emphasizing his commitment to creating a regulatory environment that emphasizes fairness, consumer protection, and economic integrity, both in Fiji and throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
