Asma Fareha Khan, after successfully operating her online business for two years, has taken the leap into the retail world by opening a physical store to satisfy customer demand.

Her new showroom, Asma Fashion Closet, is situated on the main street of Nadi Town. Originally hailing from Punjab, India, Ms. Khan brings a wealth of knowledge regarding fashion trends, product varieties, and quality to her venture. She is married to Manuawar Khan, a prominent information technology specialist based in Nadi.

“This venture has always been our dream,” Ms. Khan stated. “Our store’s modern design ensures that customers enjoy a cozy and comfortable shopping experience, making it feel like a personal closet.”

The showroom features an array of unique and fashionable women’s attire, including clothing, footwear, jewelry, luxury clutches, handbags, hijabs, and various accessories.

Manuawar Khan expressed confidence in Fiji’s potential for retail in contemporary Indian ethnic and Indo-western fashion and accessories. “While the competition in Fiji is fierce, our priority will always be to present quality and distinctive items not commonly found in the market,” he remarked.

Currently, there are no manufacturing facilities in Fiji, but some of their products are customized for uniqueness. The Khans have made an investment of nearly $60,000 in establishing and stocking their showroom, which currently employs two staff members. They are also looking to expand their business into the western division by opening additional showrooms.
