Asma Fareha Khan, who successfully operated her online business for the past two years, has taken a significant step by opening a retail store to cater to growing client demand. She is the visionary behind the Asma Fashion Closet, which is situated on the main street of Nadi Town.

Originating from Punjab, India, Ms. Khan possesses extensive expertise in fashion, product assortments, and quality standards. She is married to Manuawar Khan, an accomplished information technology professional based in Nadi.

“It has been our dream to venture into this business,” she expressed. “Our store’s modern design creates a cozy and comfortable shopping experience for our customers. The concept is to make shoppers feel as if they are in a closet.”

The boutique specializes in importing unique and stylish women’s clothing, footwear, jewelry, luxury clutches, handbags, hijabs, and various accessories.

Manuawar Khan believes that Fiji presents a robust potential for retail sales of the latest Indian ethnic and Indo-western apparel and accessories. “The market in Fiji is quite competitive, but we will always prioritize introducing quality and unique items that are not commonly found here,” he stated.

While there are currently no manufacturing facilities in Fiji, some of their products are customized to distinguish themselves in the marketplace. “We have invested nearly $60,000 in establishing and stocking our showroom, and so far we have employed two staff members,” he added.

Looking ahead, the couple plans to expand their business in the western division by launching additional showrooms.
