Former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has been questioned and released from the CID Headquarters this evening.

Police Chief of Crime ACP Mesake Waqa states that Sayed-Khaiyum is being questioned regarding allegations of abuse of office, related to his roles as the Minister for Aviation and Attorney-General between 2018 and 2022.
