Empowering Futures: PM Rabuka’s Inspiring Message to FNU Students

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has encouraged students at Fiji National University to equip themselves with quality education to adapt to societal changes and achieve success.

During his visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka highlighted the crucial role of education in shaping the future for the younger generation.

“You are in an institution of learning, taught by those who have navigated this journey. Change is a natural part of life. There is always a way to recover; don’t lose hope, keep pushing forward and graduate,” PM Rabuka urged the students.

“Persist, you have the potential, the sky is not the limit for you, but heaven is.” The Prime Minister received a traditional welcome from the university staff, followed by a presentation from Vice Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba.

In expressing the university’s gratitude, Professor Baba reaffirmed FNU’s commitment to enhancing higher education in Fiji.

“We assure you that FNU will work alongside you to shape a future aligned with the Fijian Government’s vision. At FNU, our focus will align with the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” Professor Baba communicated to the Prime Minister.

“FNU recognizes the Government’s direction and is committed to sharing that vision.”
