Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka urged students at the Fiji National University to equip themselves with quality education to successfully adapt to societal changes and achieve their goals.

During his visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka highlighted the critical role of education in shaping the future for young people.

“You are in an institution of learning, guided by educators who have experienced this journey. Change is a natural part of life. There is always a path to recovery; stay determined, keep pushing forward, and graduate,” PM Rabuka advised the students.

“Keep going, you can do it, the sky is not the limit for you but heaven is,” he added.

The Prime Minister received a warm traditional welcome from the university staff, which included a presentation led by Vice Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba.

In expressing the university’s gratitude, Professor Baba reaffirmed FNU’s dedication to enhancing higher education in Fiji.

“We assure you that FNU will align with you and contribute to the Fijian Government’s vision of the future. At FNU, we will focus on the National Development Plan set by the government,” Professor Baba stated.

“FNU recognizes the direction the government is heading and will follow the same path.”
