Empowering Futures: PM Rabuka Inspires FNU Students to Embrace Education

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has urged students at Fiji National University to equip themselves with quality education to successfully navigate societal changes and achieve their goals.

During his recent visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka underscored the critical role of education in shaping the future of the youth. He encouraged the students, stating, “You are in an institution of learning, you are being taught by people who have gone through this process. Change is natural. There is always a path to recovery; do not give up, keep going and graduate.”

He added, “Keep going, you can do it, the sky is not the limit for you but heaven is.”

The Prime Minister was received with a traditional welcome ceremony by the university staff, followed by a presentation led by Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba.

In expressing the university’s gratitude, Professor Baba reiterated FNU’s commitment to promoting higher education in Fiji. “We promise that FNU will move with you and carve a future in the Fijian Government’s vision. At FNU, we will focus on the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” she stated. “FNU understands the horizon the Government is taking, and it will take the same horizon.”
