Selina Kuruleca has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Justice, with the change taking effect next Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ratu Meli Nacuva, currently serving as the Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports, will temporarily take on the role of Permanent Secretary for Education.
Luke Rokovada, Chair of the Public Service Commission, expressed gratitude to Kuruleca for her commitment to high standards while working to improve quality and equity within the education sector. He is hopeful that Kuruleca’s new role will allow her to utilize her skills and experience effectively.
Rokovada also noted that Nacuva has a wealth of experience in public administration, education policy, as well as training and development, which will be vital in advancing the Ministry’s objectives of enhancing the quality and accessibility of education for all citizens.
