Selina Kuruleca has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Justice, effective next Tuesday, after serving as the Permanent Secretary for Education. In her place, Ratu Meli Nacuva, who currently holds the position of Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports, will step in as the acting Permanent Secretary for Education.
Luke Rokovada, Chair of the Public Service Commission, expressed gratitude to Kuruleca for her dedication to improving the quality and equity of education. He is confident that Kuruleca’s new role will make good use of her skills and experience. Rokovada also highlighted Nacuva’s extensive background in public administration, education policy, and training, noting that it will be vital in advancing the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing education quality and accessibility for all citizens.
