The Eastern Division Police team is poised to compete in the 2024 Fiji Police Inter District Championship, which kicks off today at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori. Team representative, ASP Sunil Prakash Chand, expressed confidence in the squad’s preparedness, highlighting their extensive physical training and skills development.
“We are second to none, and we are ready to battle any team that comes our way in the tournament,” said ASP Chand.
The tournament will see eight police teams from across the nation gather at Ratu Cakobau Park for a three-day competition. The event begins at 8:30 AM today, with the following match schedule:
8:30 AM: Northern vs PMF
9:45 AM: Headquarters vs Western 2
11:00 AM: Eastern vs Central
2:00 PM: Western 1 vs Southern
3:15 PM: Headquarters vs Central
4:30 PM: Eastern vs Western 2
