Golf Fiji President Amitesh Chandra highlighted that the tournament will unfold in two distinct sessions, each presenting unique challenges to the players. The morning will kick off with teams competing in an Ambrose format, where pairs from each team will go head-to-head in their respective grades. In the afternoon, players will transition to individual match play, earning one point for each win and half a point for any draws. The team with the highest points by the tournament’s conclusion will emerge victorious.

Chandra mentioned that Golf Fiji is fully financing the event with an investment of $3,500, expressing that the organization’s goal is to promote golf and encourage healthy competition among players across the nation. He stated, “Events like this bring players together, help develop their skills, and strengthen the golfing community.”
