Drug Bust in Fiji: Two Arrested with Nearly 100 Marijuana Branches

A recent operation carried out by the Fiji Detector Dog Unit in a settlement in Lami led to the arrest of two men who were allegedly found in possession of nearly 100 branches of dried leaves thought to be marijuana. According to police reports, the two individuals are currently in custody, and the confiscated material has been sent for testing.

Additionally, further arrests related to alleged marijuana possession took place at various locations, including Nausori market, Lautoka, Sigatoka, Labasa bus stand, and Vunivau in Labasa. Police confirmed that all seized items have also been submitted for analysis.
