Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain Tevita Ikanivere is eagerly looking forward to the upcoming season, emphasizing the need to enhance their game plans for the challenges that lie ahead. He conveys the excitement of playing in front of the home supporters, a feeling that remains special and inspiring, just as it was in the previous season.
Ikanivere is particularly enthusiastic about the seven home matches planned for the Drua, with four taking place at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva and three at Churchill Park in Lautoka. He is especially anticipating their first home game against the Brumbies in Suva on February 15.
With a new format in play, Ikanivere recognizes the significance of focusing on each game individually. “I saw the new format and how exciting it is. I’m looking forward to playing the Brumbies here at home, and I’m eager for that first home game in Suva,” said Ikanivere. “We’ll take it one game at a time, build throughout the preseason, and get our game plans in order. I’m excited for all our games next year.”
The Drua’s home schedule includes matches against the Crusaders, Brumbies, Reds, and Blues in Suva, along with games against the Chiefs, Waratahs, and Western Force in Lautoka.
