Drua Captain Gears Up for Thrilling Home Season

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain Tevita Ikanivere is looking forward to the upcoming season and is concentrating on enhancing their game strategies for the upcoming matches. He feels that playing in front of the home crowd is always a unique and inspiring experience, similar to the previous season.

Ikanivere is particularly excited about the seven home games scheduled for the Drua, with four taking place at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva and three at Churchill Park in Lautoka. He is especially anticipating their first home match against the Brumbies in Suva on February 15.

Pleased with the new format, Ikanivere emphasizes the significance of approaching each game step by step. “I saw the new format and it looks thrilling. I’m excited to play the Brumbies here at home, and I’m really looking forward to that first home game in Suva,” he stated.

“We’ll take one game at a time, build through the preseason and our offseason to fine-tune our game plans. I’m eager for all our games next year.”

The Drua’s home schedule features matches against the Crusaders, Brumbies, Reds, and Blues in Suva, along with the Chiefs, Waratahs, and Western Force in Lautoka.
