Dramatic Draw: Ba Battles Back Twice Against Navua

Ba came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Navua in Round 13 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

Simione Damuni put the home team ahead early in the match, but Ba’s young player Penaia Nagatalevu equalized shortly after. Midfielder Rahul Krishna then restored Navua’s lead midway through the first half, but Ba’s Mohammed Raheem converted a penalty just before halftime to level the score once again.

The second half saw no goals, but tensions escalated, leading to red cards for Ba players Rahul Naresh and Ilaisa Nayasi. Following the draw, Rooster Chicken Ba dropped to fifth place with 19 points, while Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies Navua sits in sixth place with 18 points.
