Dramatic Derby: Navua and Suva Split Points in Thrilling 2-2 Draw!

In a thrilling Round 15 southern derby of the Digicel Fiji Premier League, Navua and Suva battled to a 2-2 draw at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.

Navua struck first with a goal from Kolinio Sivoki, whose free-kick took a deflection off a Suva defender and found its way into the net. Despite the early setback, Suva responded quickly, with Solomon Islander Gagame Feni showcasing his skill by scoring two goals and giving his team a 2-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, veteran player Simione Damuni equalized for Navua with a well-executed finish. The draw left both teams’ standings unaffected, with Navua holding onto sixth place with 20 points, while Suva remains in seventh with 16 points.
