Dr. Raijeli Taga, the Permanent Secretary for the Fiji Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources, has been appointed as the new Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. This announcement was made today by Luke Rokovada, chair of the Public Service Commission. Dr. Taga will assume her new position in two weeks, allowing for a seamless transition as she hands over her responsibilities to her successor. Meanwhile, Parmesh Chand, the Permanent Secretary for civil service, will serve in an acting capacity during this transition. Further details will be available in tomorrow’s edition of The Fiji Times.
