In an exhilarating match at Thomson Park in Navua, the DOMINION Brothers triumphed over the PSM Aflame Bros, clinching the men’s cup trophy at the Fiji Sports Council Under 20 Sevens Rugby Tournament with a close score of 14-12. The game was fiercely contested, wrapping up the one-day tournament as both teams pushed for victory under the setting sun.
Manasa Mata, the manager of the Dominion Brothers, expressed deep appreciation for the players’ efforts, stating, “I am so thankful to them for the win and for giving their time and effort to show their talents.” He shared that the team was established with a vision to help the young athletes provide for their families while honing their skills in sevens rugby.
The players, aged between 17 to 19 years old, showcased their abilities thanks to the collaborative support of the Fiji Sports Council and the Fiji Rugby Union. Their dedication and determination paid off as they took home a prize of $3,500.
