Dominion Brothers Shine at Fiji Bitter Kadavu Sevens!

The Dominion Brothers under-21 team showcased their dominance by clinching the championship title at the Fiji Bitter Kadavu Sevens tournament. They secured a convincing 27-7 victory over the Village Boys in the exciting cup final.

Head coach Eramaia Katavere expressed his pride in the team’s performance, crediting their success to their unity and dedication on the field. “It was a well-deserved win for the boys; the match was amazing, and we thank the Village Boys for a great game,” Katavere stated. He highlighted the familiarity among the players, noting that their close-knit relationships contributed significantly to their exceptional teamwork. “All these boys know each other, and playing together makes a difference because we are all here for the win.”

While they focused on victory during the match, a spirit of camaraderie persisted off the field, reflecting strong sportsmanship values. However, the joy of celebration was slightly overshadowed by a concern for a teammate who sustained an injury during the competition. “It was sad that one of our teammates was injured in the match, so we will be concerned about his health,” Katavere added.

Looking ahead, the team is committed to regrouping and sticking to their rigorous training to excel in future tournaments in the Fiji Bitter series. The win was not just a personal achievement but a moment of pride shared with their families and supporters, emphasizing the significance of this victory for the young athletes.
