Discipline and Dreams: The Journey of Mosese Tuimatai

Mosese Tuimatai, an 18-year-old student from Maumi Village in Bau, Tailevu, has been honored with the Baton of Honour at Ratu Sukuna Memorial School. He expressed that living with discipline is crucial for long-term benefits, a lesson instilled in him by his father from a young age.

Surprised but grateful to receive the award, Mosese is the first in his family to complete Year 13. He emphasized the importance of listening to parents and noted that the cadet training program has been instrumental in teaching self-discipline, a quality he believes will serve students well throughout their lives. He credited the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces for helping instill this discipline within the students.

Mosese, who aspires to become a marine engineer, expressed gratitude to God and his supportive family for helping him reach this significant milestone. He mentioned that receiving the Baton of Honour came as a pleasant surprise, filling him with happiness and appreciation.
