The Fiji Police Force today honored senior officers for their dedication and loyalty to service. These officers have remained steadfast and immovable in their commitment to serving the nation over the years.
Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, presented medals during the last quarter service in Suva, stating that the medals represent honor, valor, patience, sacrifice, and most importantly, honesty. He renewed the call for Police officers to stay loyal, honest, and professional, emphasizing the importance of serving with integrity at all times.
“If we are to be anything in our careers, we should be the beacon of hope and stability, like a lighthouse that not only stands to show the way but to protect,” said Chew. He further indicated that it is time to take the organization forward, improving it rather than making it worse.
“Metaphorically, lighthouses provide a sense of safety and direction while also symbolizing the importance of staying on course and making informed decisions during times of uncertainty,” he added.
