The Suva Magistrates Court will determine if the charges against former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum and former Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem will be consolidated. During a court session today, Magistrate Yogesh Prasad scheduled a hearing date to receive submissions from defense lawyer Devanesh Sharma and state lawyer Nancy Tikoisuva. Tikoisuva is advocating for the consolidation of charges, while Sharma opposes the application made by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). The hearing is set for August 6.
