The Suva Magistrates Court will soon determine whether the charges against former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and former Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem will be consolidated. Both individuals appeared before Magistrate Yogesh Prasad, who scheduled a hearing date for submissions from their lawyers. Defense lawyer Devanesh Sharma opposes the consolidation, while state lawyer Nancy Tikoisuva supports it. The hearing is set for August 6.
