Debutants Shine as Flying Fijians Gear Up for Epic Clash Against Samoa!

Vuate Karawalevu and Epeli Momo are set to make their debut for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians against Samoa in the opening match of the Pacific Nations Cup in Suva tomorrow. Momo will take the position on the left wing, while Karawalevu is assigned to fullback.

Additionally, halfback Moses Sorovi and dynamic center Apisalome Vota will also make their debut from the bench. Coach Mick Byrne has assembled a formidable starting lineup, featuring Haereiti Hetet, Captain Tevita Ikanivere, and Samuela Tawake in the front row. Isoa Nasilasila and Temo Mayanavanua will play as locks, with Meli Derenalagi positioned as blindside flanker and Kitione Salawa on the openside. Elia Canakaivata will take the Number 8 spot.

In the halves, Frank Lomani and Caleb Muntz will collaborate. Joining Momo on the wing is Olympic silver medalist Selestino Ravutaumada, while fellow Olympic medalist Iosefo Masi will be stationed in midfield alongside Inia Tabuavou, with Karawalevu donning the number 15 jersey.

Among the reserves, alongside Sorovi and Vota, are Mesulame Dolokoto, Eroni Mawi, Peni Ravai, Ratu Leone Rotuisolia, Albert Tuisue, and Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to kick off at 6 PM.
