The Vodafone Deans Trophy Under-18 national quarterfinal draws for this Saturday have been officially confirmed, with no alterations made. This information was shared with SUNsports by Biu Colati, the competition director and representative of the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union, during an interview.
Colati stated, “As of now, it is final, but if there are any changes, we will notify.” The U18 quarterfinals will feature the top eight schools competing for four spots in the semifinals.
He noted that the primary concern currently is the weather, as Suva has experienced continuous rain over the past few days. “We will meet this afternoon to discuss the condition of the grounds and other issues,” Colati added.
When inquired about a viral video featuring the Bucalevu Secondary School Under-16 team on social media, Colati declined to comment until the matter is finalized. “The meeting is on Monday night where we will address this issue and outline the necessary preparations for the Deans and Raluve finals,” he mentioned.
