Defending champions Dawasamu Secondary School from Tailevu are on track to retain the U18 title in the Weetbix Raluve competition after a challenging 19-12 victory over Shri Gurunanak Khalsa College from Labasa.
Dawasamu took control in the first half, leading 19-0 at halftime. Although Shri Gurunanak mounted a determined comeback in the second half, Dawasamu stayed resolute to secure the win and advance to the semifinals against Natabua High School.
Natabua, showcasing their strength, achieved the largest victory in the quarterfinals, with sprinter Frances Tuva contributing to their dominant performance. They defeated Nasinu Secondary School 41-0, ensuring their place in the final four.
