Tokasa Nadagalu delivered a powerful message of love overcoming hatred and darkness after being crowned Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua last Saturday night. The 19-year-old, who was sponsored by the Tavualevu community, hails from Tavua Village and was raised by relatives following her father’s departure from the family. Tragically, her mother passed away when she was just 14.
During her crowning moment, she urged her peers to “Never Give Up,” attributing her success to faith in God. Nadagalu referenced Mother Teresa, stating, “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.” She also expressed gratitude towards major sponsor Vodafone Fiji and her local community sponsor, Krishna Goundar, for their unwavering support.
