Crime Stoppers Fiji has published an updated list of 21 people reported missing across the country, renewing appeals for public help as families and police continue to search without success. The notice collates reports lodged with several police divisions — including Lautoka, Nasinu, Totogo, Nakasi, Valelevu, Nadi, Navua and Ba — and covers children, teenagers and adults who have been absent from home for periods ranging from several days to several months.
Among the cases highlighted is 14‑year‑old Elvita Tukana of Tavua, who was reported missing in December 2025. The release also names 67‑year‑old Singa Mane, reported missing since February 2026. Several teenagers appear on the list, including Sherian Kumar, Nacanieli Katumada, Maria Vunitai, Sonakshi Narayan and Ana Vudi. Crime Stoppers also flagged a brother and sister, aged 16 and 9, who have been missing from their Nausori home since March 18, 2026.
Crime Stoppers said it had been notified of these cases through police divisions around the country and that repeated efforts by families and police to locate some of the missing persons had so far been unsuccessful. The organisation is urging anyone with information — no matter how small — to come forward to assist investigations and help reunite families.
Members of the public with relevant information are asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 919191 or the Police Command Coordination Centre on 9905 236. Crime Stoppers emphasised that calls can be made confidentially and stressed the importance of early information in missing‑person inquiries.
The updated list comes against a backdrop of growing public concern about unexplained disappearances earlier this year. In January 2026 the Human Rights and Anti‑Discrimination Commission urged the government to form a national taskforce to coordinate responses to missing‑person cases, particularly to protect children and other vulnerable people. Police leadership has also previously appealed for calm while calling for community cooperation in searches and safety efforts.
This latest notice forms part of ongoing joint efforts by Police and Crime Stoppers Fiji to trace those reported missing. Local police divisions say they will continue to follow up on any credible leads and are asking communities, transport operators and social media users to check for sightings or information that could assist in locating the 21 people on the list.
