Resident Magistrate Sufia Hamza is set to decide today on the request from former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum to travel to Singapore for a medical evaluation. During a hearing on Tuesday, Sayed-Khaiyum stated that he has been experiencing severe pain since March, with episodes occurring three to four times a week, which significantly hampers his daily activities. He presented his case during the bail variation application hearing. Sayed-Khaiyum is anticipated to appear in court at noon.
