Resident Magistrate Sufia Hamza is set to make a decision today regarding former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum’s request to travel to Singapore for medical evaluation. During a court session on Tuesday, Sayed-Khaiyum shared that he has been experiencing persistent severe pain since March, suffering episodes three to four times a week, which significantly hampers his ability to function. He provided this testimony while appearing for the hearing related to the variation of his bail conditions. Sayed-Khaiyum is anticipated to appear in court at noon.
