Court Sends Tamavua Robbery Suspects Behind Bars

Two men in their twenties have been charged and appeared in court in connection with an aggravated robbery that took place in Tamavua last month. According to police reports, the suspects, aged 29 and 27, are accused of unlawfully entering the residence of a 46-year-old man on October 30, where they allegedly stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before making their escape.

The individuals were apprehended last week and subsequently charged with aggravated robbery. They attended their hearing at the Suva Magistrates Court on November 4, 2024, where they were remanded in custody. The case has been scheduled for a follow-up mention on November 18.
