Two men in their twenties have been charged and appeared in court regarding their suspected involvement in an aggravated robbery that took place in Tamavua last month.
The 29-year-old and 27-year-old accused allegedly broke into a home owned by a 46-year-old man on October 30, where they reportedly stole cash, a mobile phone, and various other items before fleeing the scene.
The suspects were apprehended last week and subsequently charged with aggravated robbery. They made their court appearance at the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday, November 4. Currently, they are remanded in custody and are scheduled to return to court on November 18 for further proceedings.
