Professor Biman Prasad, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, took part in a Bhajan Competition aimed at supporting the construction of the Naag Deo Sthaan in Nukuloa, Savusavu.

Last Saturday, the community gathered at Narere Primary School to show their support for this important initiative.

The Naag Deo Sthaan is a recognized Hindu religious organization, with its committee composed of community members who act as mandalis, or representatives of their religious group, in Savusavu.

Despite the temple being temporarily closed for construction, visitors continue to come, demonstrating their faith and dedication to the Naag Deo Sthaan.

The completion of the temple is anticipated by the end of November, and the community eagerly awaits the grand opening event to celebrate this significant milestone for all who believe in Naag Baba.
