Coca-Cola’s Heartwarming Support for Single Mothers in Nadi

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners recently provided essential items to the Loloma Home and Care Centre in Waimalika, Sabeto, Nadi, to support single mothers and their children. Established in 2009 by the late Adi Laite Nawawabalavu Kubunadakai, the center serves as a refuge for single mothers.

Angela Broad, the head of marketing, brand, and activation, expressed admiration for the resilience of the women at Loloma Home. “When we learned about the center’s mission, we knew we wanted to help,” she stated. Broad emphasized the significance of their contributions, saying, “The work they do here is truly impactful, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute.”

Vaciseva Waqa, the director of Loloma, thanked Coca-Cola Europacific Partners for their support, noting that with the assistance of organizations like theirs, the center can continue to provide essential care for women and children in need. “Today’s donation will make a real difference,” Waqa remarked.

During their visit, members of the Coca-Cola team listened to the experiences of several mothers, many of whom have faced rejection from their families. A team member reflected on the visit, describing it as a humbling experience that highlighted the importance of compassion and support for those in need.

The Loloma Home collaborates closely with the Department of Social Welfare and the local community to remain an essential resource for vulnerable women. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners emphasized that this contribution underscores the positive role businesses can play in supporting their communities.
