With the FIFA World Cup qualifiers on the horizon, Fiji’s head coach, Rob Sherman, has expressed concerns regarding the unpredictability brought by coaching changes among their group opponents. The appointment of Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango to new coaching positions adds an element of uncertainty regarding their teams’ future strategies.
Sherman remarked, “There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play.”
