Five men narrowly avoided serious injuries in an accident involving two trucks on Queens Road near Emuri in Sigatoka yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, one driver is believed to have lost control of his truck, which then crossed into the opposite lane, leading to a head-on collision with another vehicle. The second truck was driven by a 44-year-old, who had three passengers with him at the time of the incident. Both drivers are currently hospitalized at Lautoka Hospital, while the three passengers have received treatment and been discharged. Authorities confirmed that there were no fatalities in the accident.
