A 58-year-old Methodist Church minister from Ba, Kolinio Bulivakarua, is scheduled to appear in court again on September 25 after being charged with obtaining a financial advantage. Last month, he faced Magistrate Yogesh Prasad in Suva over allegations of withdrawing $7,683.68 from the Mataqali Walakewa TLTB trust account. This incident is said to have occurred while he served as the divisional superintendent of Bukuya Circuit in Ba, between January 1 and May four years ago. The court was informed that the first phase of disclosures had been provided, and the second phase was expected to be received by Mr. Bulivakarua earlier this month. His bail has been extended.
