China’s $6.2 Million Military Boost for Fiji: What to Expect?

China has pledged to continue supplying peacekeeping equipment and other logistical resources to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. The Fijian Cabinet has approved a Protocol Agreement with the Ministry of National Defence of the People’s Republic of China, allowing for military aid valued at 20 million RMB (approximately $6.2 million FJD) to be provided free of charge. This agreement is set to last for a duration of three years.
