Cardi B has announced the cancellation of her performance at ONE MusicFest in Atlanta due to a medical emergency that required hospitalization. The rapper, who recently welcomed her third child with estranged husband Offset, shared her news on Instagram just three days before the scheduled event.
In her post, Cardi expressed her disappointment, stating, “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.” While she did not provide specific details about her condition, Cardi conveyed her sorrow over missing the opportunity to perform for her fans, adding, “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”
She reassured her supporters, saying, “Thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love y’all.”
ONE MusicFest responded to her announcement by expressing support for Cardi’s decision and encouraged fans to keep her in their prayers for a full recovery. They also mentioned they are working to secure a replacement artist since the announcement comes late in the planning process.
In addition to dealing with her health, Cardi has been navigating other significant life changes recently. She gave birth to her third child in September, shortly after filing for divorce from Offset following seven years of marriage. Despite the challenges, Cardi remains focused on her role as a mother to her children, including her daughter Kulture and son Wave. She expressed gratitude for her experiences and emphasized the importance of balancing life, love, and her passion.
