Lemeki Senikau, the captain of the Under-17 team at Ratu Kadavulevu School, is focused on enhancing his kicking and positional skills in preparation for the Vodafone Deans Trophy final on Saturday. Following their semi-final victory of 38-11 against Ratu Navula College, Senikau’s team is set to compete against Marist Brothers High School in the final.
“We rely on God’s strength and guidance in our performance on the field,” stated Senikau. He emphasized the importance of maintaining composure under pressure in the upcoming match.
Senikau credited the team’s strong performance to their unity and support among players. “This win is dedicated to our parents, friends, and alumni. We faced numerous challenges throughout our 13-week training program, but the players showed great perseverance,” he added.
