The Minister for Housing and Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa, is encouraging business owners in Nasinu to engage in community investments and support local initiatives to foster a socially united town. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Nasinu Festival last Saturday, Mr. Nalumisa emphasized the vital role businesses play in community transformation. He stated, “Our future is bright, but it requires the effort of each one of us.”
He highlighted that by investing in the community, creating jobs, and backing local initiatives, businesses can contribute to making Nasinu economically robust and socially integrated. With consistent business support, he believes Nasinu could become “a beacon of hope,” showcasing what is achievable when communities work together toward a common goal.
Mr. Nalumisa advocated for developing a town where everyone, including children, youths, women, and the elderly, has opportunities to succeed. He envisioned a city that thrives not only on prosperity but also embodies compassion, unity, and a shared purpose.
