Ubayd Haider, a dedicated featherweight boxer, tragically passed away following a recent fight in Nadi, where he had not been in good health just two days prior to the match. This information emerged from his brother, fellow boxer Sebastian Singh, during Haider’s funeral service held in Suva.

Speaking to a large gathering at the National Gymnasium, which included the Sports Minister Jese Saukuru, Singh expressed his pride in his brother’s perseverance.
