Local boxing star Ubayd Haider, previously known as Nathan Singh, is optimistic that his rigorous training and focused mentality will result in an outstanding performance in his upcoming match.
Haider is scheduled to compete against China’s Runqi Zhou for the prestigious IBO Asia Pacific featherweight title at the South Pacific Boxing promotion in Nadi tomorrow.
At 25 years old, he is committed to surpassing his limits to become the best version of himself and to make his nation proud.
“The hard work is done, now it’s time for the showdown,” Haider stated. “I have trained hard, and I can’t wait to step into the ring.”
The event, which will feature special guest Sonny Bill Williams, is expected to deliver an exciting contest at Prince Charles Park, with gates opening at 2 PM.
