International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is set to face Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event tonight at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park. At the official weigh-in, Hill weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8kg.

Hill is aiming for a double celebration, as his brother Jonathan Hill will also be competing for the Fiji super middleweight title on the undercard. “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have spent a long time training together in camp,” Winston said. He expressed his excitement for the fight night, highlighting the high stakes involved.

“Prince Charles Park will come alive with the ring announcer and Sonny Bill Williams being present for the night. Team Hill is here, and it’s special to be fighting alongside my brother as he aims for a national title.”

In another matchup, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh is confidently pursuing the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title against Australia’s ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75kg, while Tongotongo was at 87.55kg.

“I’m excited about the hard work we’ve put in against my opponent,” Singh remarked. “We are in good health and full of adrenaline. I just want to get the job done.” While he refrained from making predictions, he conveyed a sense of readiness, stating that “whatever happens, happens.”

Fiji super middleweight title holder Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5kg, while Jonathan Hill came in at 74.8kg. Nawai, known as “Hands of Stone,” said, “I have prepared for this fight and I’ll await what Hill has in store for me.”
