Winston Hill, the IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion, is set to face Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in a highly anticipated fight tonight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi. Hill weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea came in at 69.8 kg during yesterday’s official weigh-in.

In addition to his own bout, Hill is looking forward to celebrating his brother, Jonathan Hill, who is also fighting for the Fiji super middleweight title against Siliveni Nawai on the undercard. “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been spending a long time together in camp,” said Winston Hill. “I’m looking forward to fight night. It is a big card with many significant titles on the line. Prince Charles Park will come alive with the ring announcer and Sonny Bill Williams present for the night. Team Hill is here, and it is different as I’m fighting alongside my brother who is aiming for a national title.”

In other news, Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh is feeling optimistic about his chances of winning the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title against Australia’s powerful knockout artist, “King” Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who is also the current holder of the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kg, while Tongotongo recorded 87.55 kg. “I’m excited for the hard yards we have put in against my opponent,” said Singh. “We are in good health, with a lot of adrenaline. I just want to get the job done.” While Singh refrained from making specific predictions, he mentioned that “whatever happens, happens.”

In the super middleweight division, Fiji’s title holder Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5 kg, while Jonathan Hill weighed 74.8 kg. Nawai, known as “Hands of Stone,” stated, “I have prepped for this fight and I’ll await what Hill has in store for me.”
